Google +

I know what you are thinking, I have a twitter account and I am using Facebook fan page why do I need Google + business page? It’s simple my friends, because its part of Google.  Google likes its blogs, and social networks best because Google is a business. Google is  going to like its own services and you know it. Meaning better search position for you if you have it. It you are on the top of  organic search in google then I don’t have to explain what that traffic means to your business. If you aren’t it means cash!

Google + For Business

Another reasons is that millions of people are using Google + and guess what..the people that are in their circles who have sent their business sites and post through a topic come up closer to the top or at least on that first page. I already I can see you thinking.. hum . …sounds like I need a Google business  page.  You do indeed need one.

Another good thing about Google + is the connections with savvy bloggers and tech people. It’s smaller now and you can talk to some important people there. Who knows they might even plus 1 your work or help you find new clients by sharing your work or asking you for interviews . Play your cards right and you could make friends with amazing new people you would not have met other wise.

Google also let you share a lot of information and to certain people who you have in circles. People who will more likely to appreciate and share your posts. Google plus one has hangouts which are pretty fun. Hangouts are pretty popular and again you can meet and make friends with some special people there.

Most Experts believe that these pages will be very important to the way you index in google. I can attest to the fact that I have two ancient blogger sites that sill help me with indexing of my business that are not that great but because they are part of google you guess it they are important for my SEO.

I’m Elizabeth Maness and I would love to assist you in getting your business more traffic and sales through social media platforms.

I agree with you about the importance of Google+, and I like Google+.  The people that I connect with over there are different in large part than my Facebook crowd, and many of them seem more serious about business.  I really think the only reason people aren't there more is because there's no ability to cross-post with the other social media platforms.  Which does make it hard, but I have to admit sometimes I like it because I see different things there than I do on Facebook.

Tony.. I learned years ago about how much Google likes and indexes from it’s own products. If you post and use it that will help you gain footage in Google search! I have made a living from Google search for many years..;)

Fascinating….truly.  I still really struggle with Google+ although I have a presence there.  Wish I could SEE how to easily connect or build my visibility there without spending a ton of time…it's not one of those platforms I'm drawn to naturally (like Twitter, FB and Pinterest) but I'd HATE to miss out on visibility just cuz I'm chicken! LOL!

I am happy to see your are discussing this topic. G+ tends to be a male driven platform ..that needs to change :) Its also very useful in terms of SEO :) Great post! I will share on G+ :) Nice new site too Liz!!

    • Elizabeth
      April 13, 2012 | 6:31 am

Thanks Anita and yes it is male dominated. Men 35 and up are a target market for some of services I provide so I have noticed. The SEO value is what does it for me lol

Even though it's "just another platform" this one is extremely important.  The +1's are everywhere – and they are not going away soon.  Most of the Google+ users are affluent decision-makers.  Who wouldn't want to reach them?

I know right? and because there aren’t many people there yet you could get to know them and make some great connections for business. Win Win!
