Facebook Post Scheduling Feature – What a Break for Busy Business Owners

Facebook  Post Scheduling Feature

In the last week Facebook unveiled a super cool new option on their Business Pages – a post scheduling feature.  This allows those who are not using social media management software the option to schedule their posts for future times.Facebook post scheduling feature is going to make many a busy business owner a happy camper!

Why should we be excited about this?  For one, it helps small business owners.  In order to schedule posts before, you had to use a social media management program, which range from free to $1000/month+.  If the business owner didn’t want to do that, he/she had to sit and post in real time.  Trust me, that was not their priority or first-choice.

Now that Facebook has given page administrators this option, it opens up to better use of time on business pages.

A good majority of people are not aware of how to use this new feature, so I am going to walk you through it with this Video.

Great post, Mandy! I just started using this a couple of days ago! I do use Hootsuite to schedule my posts but when I include a photo, it sometimes shows up with previous photos…making it confusing!  Thanks again!

This is such a fabulous feature! I've been using it for a few weeks now; I was so happy when a friend told me about it. It certainly makes posting on FB so much easier!

Thanks Mandy, great video.  I agree, I haven't seen much about this new feature either.  I admit that I haven't used it.  I'm just conditioned to post real time on Facebook, even though it definitely isn't the most convenient route.  . . I'm assuming FB has confirmed they aren't penalizing anyone for using FB's own scheduling tool?  Seems like a silly question, but FB can be silly at times.

It's about time! Anything you can do directly from Facebook or Twitter without the third party management tool is a good thing.

I completely agree Matt! It gets to be a lot trying to keep up with it all! It is definitely easier now that they have added this feature!
