I was there when his big sister was born and held her first. It was one of the most amazing moments of my life. She looked up at me with her mother’s eyes and it was over. I was madly in love!
People told me I would love her as much as my own children but I couldn’t imagine how that was possible. They were right and it’s still astonishes me.
Everywhere we go people will stop and want to look at the baby and give advice about his care! I would like to do the same thing with your sweet precious new blog.
Yes, Nonnie, (my grandmother title) has a few tips and some advice for caring for your new baby blog. I have successfully raised a couple of blogs . I would like to give you some tips for blogging beginners because this new grandchild has me thinking about what it was like in the beginning when everything is new and a bit overwhelming.
5 Tips To Get you Growing!
Who’s your Mamma?
Visitors come to read your content because they have connected with you in some way online. After they finish reading a post they’ll be searching your site to find out who you are and what makes you tick.
With an about me section, you are showing your readers that you are a proud parent and what makes this blog so special. Think about how often you look at that section on a blog yourself? Ah – huh! It makes a difference and you know it!
Don’t leave off that section and have your reader abandon you because you aren’t feeling real to them. Just like babies a new blog come along all the time. They want to see the promise of this new creation and it’s future.
Don’t get so excited about all you have to do and forget to put your name on the birth certificate! Claim your baby, in an “about me” section so that your fans know your blog’s heritage.
Want your ideal Clients climbing in your Lap?

Optimizing your blog content for search will help search engines index and rank your article which means more traffic! You baby blog with grow healthy and strong with all that attention!
If you are using the right keywords then you will have your ideal clients visiting your site round the clock! How great will that be? Who does want their fledgling blog to be at the top! Who knows, it could even be featured on a Forbes list. Anything is possible with a new-born.
I want my Friends to see this!
Blogs are so popular because they are short, very focused, interesting content that’s easy to sharing on social media. Don’t make me skip sharing your content because you don’t have the proper buttons!
Please make sure you have your Twitter share button set to share at your twitter user name! (@newbloggerstwittername)
If you don’t then I’m not likely to share your content on Twitter because you will not know I shared it and we can’t talk about your handsome article. You miss out on two critical things here; getting your content shared and engaging on a social media platform with a fan.
Let me help you show off your baby! With the right exposure on social media, we could get this kid a scholarship to guest post on Mashable or something. Without share buttons, you are going to make this kid’s future a rough.
Would You like some Healthy Link Juice with your Post?
A whole lotta bloggers sling out a new post and forget to look back. Big mistake! I’m talking huge! An important step NOT to over look is to build backlinks to your content that has been previously published. You get two valuable things happening when you do.
First, you will help Google and the other search engines understand the context of your content.
Next, you will attract new eyes to old content!
You know you want the public to understand and appreciate your sweet blog! A growing new blog really needs all the healthy link juice it can get!
By building backlinks you will strengthen your post both old and new. So always remember to link back to relevant post and out to trusted and respected sources.
You want your darling blog associated with other good blogs. When you link out to content with the same context as your post, you can pass along a dose of that healthy link juice to another blogger.
It’s a great way to build relationships and deliver more value to your readers. Two things all blogs need for proper development.
Friend, you need to change that Cause it stinks!
Content is now one of the most important ways to get traffic to a website. Content is what draws people to your blog and without great content you can kiss them good-bye in seconds. Your content should be a reflection of you and have your voice, experience and knowledge. Post each piece like some one is paying you to write it.
They are paying you with their time and perhaps money if you impress your visitors enough. You know you are spot on when people are happy to share your content and comment on it.
What a proud parent you will be when you take the time to create only the best for your tiny new blog. There’s nothing worse than a bad post and soon you will have raised a stinking blog that no one wants to see or be around. You don’t want to raise a spoiled blog, trust me!
